diffractive optical elements for beam shaping and beam splitting (DOE’s), as well as special gratings.
In conjunction with MEMS Optical the Jenoptik subsidiary is now in a position to develop and manufacture even more complex microoptical components and
systems that combine refractive and diffractive microoptics (refracting and bending the light waves respectively).
In return, in Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme, MEMS Optical will be getting a partner which has a reputation in and access to the European markets. Moreover, Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme will support MEMS Optical with development and fabrication know-how of Binary Optics of its Microoptics business unit.
