| Chicago, Illinois – November 26, 2008: ALPAO is a specialist in adaptive optics (from deformable mirrors up to complex adaptive optics systems). Its breakthrough technologies come from years of | |||||
|
research and development in the most demanding applications.
ALPAO
will be exhibiting at Photonics West 2009 in San Jose, Calif.,
from Jan. 24 to 29, on the French Pavilion at booth 6144.
Thanks to a unique and patented technology, ALPAO's deformable mirrors feature very large stroke and large bandwidth. Its know-how has been used to develop a series of deformable mirror optimized for each application (free space optics, astronomy, vision science, etc.). ALPAO has recently introduced a new highly flexible and open architecture whose name is ALPAO Core Engine. This modular approach is the ideal tool to develop custom systems and innovative solutions based on AO technologies. The AOS-0 (designed for R&D and education) and the AOS-1 (designed for most demanding applications) are the two first products including ACE. |

During SPIE 2009,
ALPAO
will show the benefits of the
ALPAO
AO systems and the patented technology
(large strokes and high bandwidth) incorporated in its deformable series
as well as demonstrate the high level of performance this system delivers.
It will also show how users can save time and money
using its highly flexible AO toolkit.
